Little Broad Reed is a newly converted grade 2 listed Barn dating from the early 1500's. It is located within the grounds of a 16th century farmhouse and surrounded by fields, streams and woodlands.
Great care has been taken to retain the Barn's original charm with a wealth of oak beams, many of them original. The conversion is of an exceptionally high standard having taken two years to complete using local craftsmen and matching materials. The Barn maintains its original character but incorporates many modern features.
Situated in the High Weald of East Sussex in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is surrounded by many places of interest. Ashdown Forest, Glynebourne Opera House, the historical towns of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Lewes and Battle are all within 15 miles. Picturesque and historic villages within a closer radius are Mayfield, Fletching, Burwash (Batemans home of Rudyard Kipling) and Wadhurst. The area has many historic pubs and restaurants.
